Device-only history: Recent sends stay on your iPhone.
Nothing to browse: Mailo cannot read or search your inbox.

How it works

Two taps. One useful email.

Mailo keeps the route short, whether an idea starts inside the app or somewhere else on your phone.

Write or share.: Compose a note in Mailo. You can also send a link, image, or text through the iOS Share Sheet.
Mailo makes the message.: It builds a useful subject, keeps rich link context, and prepares any image attachment on your device.
Gmail puts it in your inbox.: The message arrives unread in the inbox you already use. It does not get lost in your Sent folder.

Privacy, in plain English

Mailo knows less by design.

Its limits come from the product architecture, not a promise tucked inside a long policy.

No Mailo server.: Your iPhone sends the message to Gmail. Mailo has no backend between them.
No inbox access.: The app requests insert access only. It cannot read, search, or download your mail.
No tracking.: There are no analytics tools, advertising IDs, or behavior profiles.
No cloud history.: Your send history stays in local app storage and is shared only with the Mailo extension.

Small on purpose, useful by habit.

The first Mailo grew past the point where a tiny Gmail experiment could stay tiny. A public version required a larger security and compliance program.

Mailo v2 is for one person and a few friends. It stays invite-only so the app can stay simple, private, and honest about what it is.
